In accordance with the national requirements for accelerating the construction of crude oil reserve facilities and the arrangements and deployments of Sinopec Group Co., Ltd., in order to meet the actual needs of China's economic development, effectively implement the national energy development strategy, better utilize international imported crude oil resources, and improve Sinopec's international competitiveness and risk resistance, Sinopec plans to build a batch of commercial crude oil reserve bases.
The project is adjacent to the Maoming Petrochemical Company's Beishanling crude oil depot on the west side, located between Beishanling and Xia Village in Diancheng Town, approximately 150-200m from the coastline. It mainly involves the construction of 16 new 100,000 m³ external floating-roof double-deck crude oil storage tanks and supporting projects, covering an area of 500 mu (approximately 33.3 hectares), with a total newly constructed capacity of 1.875 million m³. This includes 15 125,000 cubic meter crude oil storage tanks and supporting system projects. Major components include a 6KV/0.38KV substation project, oil pumping station project, metering station project, foam station project, oil-containing wastewater pool project, general plan vertical engineering, as well as supporting process pipelines, water supply and drainage pipelines, fire protection pipelines, electrical instrumentation, external power supply lines, and landscaping projects.
During the construction of the vibratory compaction stone column foundation engineering, 20 sets of equipment operated simultaneously, all using vibratory compactors researched and developed by Beijing Vibratory Compaction Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd.
