The vibratory stone column construction project for the expansion of crude oil storage tanks in the Yingkou City Bayuquan Development Zone has achieved a phased victory.
[Overview] Huajin Shares' transportation subsidiary's 2 x 100,000㎡ crude oil tank expansion project. This project is general contracted by China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau Engineering Co., Ltd., with design by Huajin Wuzhou Chemical Engineering Design Co., Ltd. The foundation treatment uses vibro-compaction stone column method.
Huajing Co., Ltd.'s Transportation and Storage Branch's expansion project for two 100,000㎡ crude oil storage tanks. This project is general contracted by China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau Engineering Co., Ltd., and designed by Huajing Wuzhou Chemical Engineering Design Co., Ltd. The foundation treatment uses the vibroflotation stone column method. The pile diameter is 1.1m, pile depth is 25 meters, total project volume is 100,000 linear meters, and construction period is one month. Our company assisted Maoming Petrochemical Company in conducting research and investigation of this project. Between September 14th and September 18th, the Beishanling Commercial Storage Project Department of the Maoming Petrochemical owner organized various supervisors and construction units to inspect and investigate the vibroflotation stone column project. A field inspection was conducted on the afternoon of September 15th. Relevant experts from China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau Engineering Co., Ltd. and Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. exchanged and discussed with the research team members on aspects such as project construction status, on-site arrangement, machinery and personnel input, construction process, and quality control. Relevant experts from Beijing Vibroflotation and members of the research team participated in an exchange meeting on the construction technology and quality control of vibroflotation stone columns on September 16th. Zang Chengxin, an expert from Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., gave a company introduction and presentation on the application of the vibroflotation method in foundation reinforcement engineering at the meeting. At the same time, the research team members conducted in-depth exchanges with relevant experts from Beijing Vibroflotation based on 21 key questions. This inspection, investigation, and meeting solved the difficulties in construction, and the overall effect was good.
