Zhedang Avenue Commercial and Residential Building Vibro-Stone Column Project in Tibet

Tibet is located in the southwest of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with an average altitude of over 4000 meters. Known as the "Roof of the World," its harsh geological conditions have created unique landscapes. The unique geological conditions of mixed gravel and coarse and fine sand make it impossible for traditional vibroflotation equipment to cope. To adapt to Tibet's complex geological conditions, our company conducted numerous tests using construction equipment of different power ratings (including 75KW, 130KW, 150KW, 180KW). We found that low-power vibroflotation equipment could not meet the construction requirements. Therefore, our company invested significant manpower and material resources to develop high-power vibroflotation equipment (200KW, 260KW, etc.) to meet the complex geological requirements of Tibet.

 

In mid-2019, Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. officially launched the Zedan Avenue residential building vibroflotation stone column project in multiple locations in Tibet (including Shannan, Lhasa, and Shigatse). The vibroflotation team overcame Tibet's harsh environment and geological conditions, ensuring project quality and worker safety, and successfully completed the project.

 

The planned Hada Happy Garden in Shigatse includes 58 buildings with a one-story basement. The planned buildings will use a frame and frame-shear wall structure, with raft and independent foundations. The importance level of the project is Level 2. Because the bearing capacity of the site's soil is low and soil liquefaction exists, it does not meet the bearing capacity and seismic requirements of the planned building, so the soil must be reinforced by vibroflotation.

 

During construction, our company ensured the normal operation of equipment through the concerted efforts of various departments, completing the construction tasks on time and to quality, and receiving high praise from the client.
