Beijing Vibrating Compaction Engineering Machinery | Caodian Rubber Dam Vibration Compaction Stone Column Project, North Canal Xianghe Section

[Overview] The Caodian rubber dam vibratory stone column construction project on the Xianghe section of the Beiyun River is being constructed by Beijing Vibratory Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. The Beiyun River section, starting from the Beijing-Hebei border in the north and extending south to the Caodian rubber dam, has a design stake number of Z0+000~Z8+200, approximately 8.2km in length. The second phase of the project involves dredging, excavation, and bank protection of the river channel from stake number Z2+500 to Z8+200. This area belongs to a fluvial alluvial plain with a uniform topography. The elevation of the exploration points ranges from 4.19m to 14.84m. The groundwater in this area is mainly Quaternary pore water. The measured stable groundwater level depth in the project area is 2.00~5.90m, with a corresponding elevation of 8.55~9.20m. The environmental water has weak sulfate corrosion on concrete; and weak corrosion on steel bars in reinforced concrete structures.

The ground surface of the project area is covered by Quaternary strata. The strata exposed on the surface and revealed by drilling are mainly composed of Holocene alluvial-proluvial deposits of the Quaternary period. This section is an overall sandy soil section, with the main lithology being sandy loam and sand.

Before ground treatment, our company conducted test piling and pile inspection in accordance with the "Technical Specifications for Vibratory Compaction Foundation Treatment of Hydropower and Water Conservancy Projects", determining the parameters such as intensified current, vibration time, and intensified section length through on-site tests.

The project has a pile diameter of 0.8m, a pile spacing of 2.5m at the bottom of the rubber dam, a pile spacing of 2.0m on both banks of the retaining wall, a pile depth of 15m, and an equilateral triangular arrangement. Combining geological data, the liquefaction layer bottom is 4 layers of medium-fine sand. The treatment depth is 1m below the bottom of the 4 layers of medium-fine sand. The pile bottom elevation is -7.0m. The filling quantity per meter of pile body is no less than 0.7m³. The vibratory stone column construction is 38500 meters. The total construction period is 30 days.

In order to cooperate with the client to complete the construction schedule on time, our company has currently put six sets of equipment into operation simultaneously.
