Trivia

Vibro-compaction piles, also known as (vibro-compaction method): The vibro-compaction method, also known as the vibratory water jetting method, uses a crane to lift a vibratory compactor. A submersible motor drives an eccentric block to generate high-frequency vibrations. Simultaneously, a water pump is started, spraying high-pressure water through a nozzle. Under the combined action of vibration and jetting, the vibratory compactor is driven to the predetermined depth in the soil. After cleaning the hole, crushed stone is added in sections from the ground into the hole, and it is compacted under vibration until the required density is reached. Then, the vibratory compactor is lifted. This process is repeated until the ground is reached, forming a large-diameter compacted pile in the foundation, forming a composite foundation with the original foundation, improving the bearing capacity of the foundation, reducing settlement, treating soil liquefaction, reducing landslides, and increasing the soil's seismic resistance. It is a fast and cost-effective reinforcement method.
