The Dibao Bay container terminal vibration compaction project in Timor-Leste has been successfully underway for 19 months
2020-04-25
Beijing Zhenchong Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd.'s self-designed and manufactured bottom-discharge vibratory hammer was the core construction equipment for the bottom fill vibratory hammer project of the Tibar Bay new container terminal in East Timor. It achieved the world's first fully automated pile driving function for the entire process of offshore construction. The project is located 10km west of Dili, the capital of East Timor, and is the largest port project in East Timor. This project is jointly invested and constructed by the East Timor government and the French Bolloré Group, with a total investment of US$153 million. It includes a 630m long container high-pile wharf, 3.5 million ㎡ of dredging, 27 hectares of land reclamation, and 18.5 hectares of foundation treatment, including 37,053 vibratory stone piles. The land foundation is formed by land reclamation using seabed bed sand and gravel. The uniformity of the foundation soil layer is poor, and the particle composition is complex. The construction conditions of the sea area foundation are not conducive to effective control of construction quality. Due to limited conditions, the number of geological exploration holes is limited, especially the seabed foundation conditions have many uncertainties. Therefore, Beijing Zhenchong Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. specifically customized and designed a fully automatic intelligent remote operation and management monitoring system to collect real-time process data of vibratory stone pile construction to control and ensure the quality of the project. The system covers related technical fields such as machinery, electricity, hydraulics, and software. Each function and component has modular design characteristics. The main functions include vibratory construction plan import, GPS pile machine positioning and navigation, hole forming and compaction automatic control, monitoring, information collection, water-gas linkage, real-time dynamic pile shape diagram, construction reports, and customized curve output (post-processing system). Beijing Zhenchong Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd.'s after-sales team provided full-process tracking service guidance, from equipment assembly and commissioning, operation training, to later maintenance, and made corresponding adjustments according to the on-site situation, ensuring the normal operation of the equipment. Despite the severe overseas epidemic situation, our after-sales team members remained steadfast and showed no sign of retreat, fully demonstrating the professional qualities of the Beijing Zhenchong Engineering Machinery team. This gained high recognition and praise from the East Timor government and relevant departments. As of now, the vibratory pile driving project has been fully completed. Here, all members of Beijing Zhenchong Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. would like to express their gratitude to the after-sales team who fought on the front line. The company is proud of you. Upon your triumphant return, a welcoming party will be held for you.

Beijing Zhenchong Engineering Machinery | Golden Silver Island Vibroflotation Consolidation Pile Project, Mekong Delta, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
The Maritime Silk Road of China brought historical opportunities for development to Southeast Asian countries. On the beautiful Indochinese Peninsula, there is a meandering river, azure skies, magnificent tropical scenery, and vast undeveloped virgin lands. This is the Mekong Delta in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The vibrator stands tall between the earth and sky like a stabilizing needle, forming a beautiful picture with the green water and blue sky.
