Exchange meeting between Northwest Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, China, and vibratory compaction machinery

On January 13, 2025, a leadership team from the Northwest China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Northwest Institute") visited Zhenchong Machinery. Both sides conducted in-depth and fruitful exchanges and discussions on the application of the vibro-impact method in the hydropower industry.

  

 

The leaders from China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Northwest Institute who visited included Xiong Tangyi, Song Hongwei, Li Qiang, and Suo Chao. Sun Yunfei, Deputy General Manager of the Hydropower Business Department of Power Construction Zhenchong Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., Zhang Laiquan, Deputy Chief Engineer; Song Hongying, Chairman of Zhenchong Machinery; Zhang Guangbiao, General Manager; Zang Chengxin, Chief Technical Officer; Feng Zheming, Deputy General Manager; Zhang Peng, General Manager of the International Development Center; and Yang Xue, Director of the Planning and Operation Department, attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, Zhenchong Machinery extended a warm welcome to the leaders of China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Northwest Institute. Subsequently, Zang Chengxin, chief technical officer of Zhenchong Machinery, gave a comprehensive report. He provided detailed explanations on the company's basic situation, application examples of new vibro-impact technologies, and new product R&D, giving attendees a more systematic understanding of Zhenchong Machinery's business layout and technical capabilities.

Following this, Zhang Laiquan, deputy chief engineer of Power Construction Zhenchong, gave an in-depth explanation of the latest research results and practical experience of vibro-impact technology in ultra-deep engineering. He provided a detailed analysis of the application principles and technical characteristics of ultra-deep vibro-impact technology, as well as the key challenges and difficulties faced in practical engineering applications. Through reports on several ultra-deep pile projects, the dedication, professional expertise, and strong sense of mission towards national key engineering projects of Zhenchong's personnel were fully demonstrated.

  

 

Xiong Tangyi, a leader from China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Northwest Institute, expressed sincere gratitude for the wonderful sharing on the vibro-impact method. He pointed out that as the general supervisory unit for the Hard Liangbao Hydropower Station project, the vibro-impact method has achieved remarkable results in this project. The use of intelligent vibro-impact construction technology has not only significantly reduced labor costs but also significantly improved construction quality, greatly enhancing their trust in Beijing Zhenchong. At the same time, through the in-depth explanations of the two chief technical officers, the design institute effectively solved the blind zone problem of vibro-impact, providing sufficient knowledge reserves for subsequent bidding work in the vibro-impact field.

Zhang Guangbiao, general manager of Zhenchong Machinery, delivered a speech at the end of the meeting. Based on over 30 years of deep cultivation and research in the field of vibro-impact, he emphasized that vibro-impact technology has broad plasticity and application potential. This meeting successfully built a friendly communication bridge between the two sides, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation. It is believed that in the future, both sides will continue to work together to explore more application scenarios and innovative models of the vibro-impact method in the hydropower industry. It is expected that through the joint efforts of both sides, the vibro-impact method will play a key role in more national key projects, creating even more brilliant achievements!
