On September 29, 2015, a specialist seminar on marine mooring pile vibroflotation was successfully held at our company. Academician Chen Zuyu and a team of experts specializing in marine vibroflotation mooring piles visited our company's vibroflotation test field to observe the prestressed vibroflotation mooring pile test. Following the test, a seminar on marine mooring pile vibroflotation technology was held in the company's conference room.
Attendees included: Wang Youhua (Director of Science and Technology, China Petroleum Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd.), Liu Jianping (Deputy General Manager, Qinghai Branch, Three New Energy), Lian Jijian (College of Architectural Engineering, Tianjin University), Zhejiang (Vice President, University Institute of Architectural Engineering), Du Xiaokai (Professor, Water Resources Planning and Design General Institute of Hydropower Engineering), Sean (Chief Engineer, China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Foundation Engineering Bureau), Liu Aimin (Deputy Chief Engineer, Tianjin Harbour Engineering Research Institute), Wang Yujie (Chinese Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Geotechnical Institute), Zhao Yufei (Director, Chinese Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Geotechnical Institute), and Yu Hongzhi (Beijing Vibroflotation Engineering Limited).
The meeting, chaired by Academician Chen of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, highlighted the advantages of the vibroflotation method in the emerging fields of offshore wind power and oil drilling platforms. He emphasized that the application of vibroflotation technology in these areas would revolutionize the high costs associated with offshore wind power platforms. Our company's Vice President, Zhu Xiaoyong, gave a detailed presentation on vibroflotation equipment and construction processes. The attendees engaged in a lively discussion on the topic. The meeting lasted three hours.
The experts attending the conference fully affirmed the advantages of the vibroflotation construction method for treating marine soft foundations, expressing high expectations for the application of "prestressed vibroflotation mooring piles" in offshore wind power and offshore drilling platforms. This also demonstrated confidence in the company's contributions to this field.
